The Province of Ontario issued a release today, January 20, 2022.The release stated,

The government made an announcement today closing all indoor sports facilities starting Wednesday January 5th at 12:01 am until January 26th at the earliest.

The Town of Orangeville has confirmed that those born in 2010 will have 12 weeks from their 12th birth date to be fully vaccinated in order to enter the recreational facilities.  This includes the 14 days following the 2nd dose.

The Town of Orangeville sent the following update regarding food and drinks in the recreation centres:

This email is to provide an update regarding the Province of Ontario’s announcement regarding proof of vaccination as it relates in particular to youth 12 to 17 years of age participating in organized sport.
