First Shift
Submitted By Michelle Whyte on Monday, November 2, 2020
The Orangeville Girls Hockey Association (OGHA) is excited to be offering their 3rd First Shift program in February 2021.

Registration will open on Wednesday November 4th at noon at www.firstshift.ca.  The First Shift is geared for girls that are between 6 - 10 years old and have never played organized hockey before and are not currently registered with an organization.  Girls must be 6 years of age as of February 7, 2021.  If your daughter is not 6 years old as of this date and you are interested in the program, please email Michelle at [email protected] to be added to a waitlist.  If the program does not fill up you may be contacted.  There are only 22 spots available so don’t hesitate to register.

The Welcome Event will be held on Sunday February 7th at 11:30 am.  This is a mandatory event where girls will be fitted for their equipment.  Ice sessions are tentatively booked for Sunday February 21, 28, March 7, 14, 21 & 28 late morning (time to be determined).

Due to Covid-19 there are many new protocols in place in order to provide a safe and successful environment for families.  Please read the OGHA Return to Play protocols before registering to be sure you are comfortable with these changes.  Most notably, there is only 1 parent/guardian allowed in the arena per family and no siblings are allowed.  The link is: https://orangevilletigers.com/Public/Documents/Covid%20Documents/OGHA_Return_to_Hockey_Protocols_October_29.pdf

Thank you
