As I’m sure you’re all aware, Wellington-Dufferin-Guelph
Public Health is moving into the Red (Control) Stage effective Monday, December
14th. This will result in several protocol changes to our program.
We will be unable to play any modified games or scrimmages; we will be moving to a Skills & Drills format. There will only be a maximum of 10 players allowed on the ice at one time.
Your coaches will be in touch with a new schedule. Please understand that your ice time and/or day may change during this time. We will update our website with the new schedule once it is confirmed. You will still be required to fill in the online assessment before entering the arena.
Only 1 parent per family will be allowed and absolutely NO siblings of any age will be allowed in. The Town of Orangeville has said that there will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this rule. This includes players who may play in another age division with the Tigers. This also includes strollers.
We understand that this is a difficult time for everyone and if you’re not comfortable attending hockey during the Red (Control) Stage, please email our Director of House League, James Herr.
We appreciate your understanding and patience. Please be diligent in following these protocols so that we can return to the Orange Stage after 28 days.
Stay well,
OGHA
