Both our U11 and U18 BB Tigers competed in the Niagara Girls Hockey Tournament this weekend and each walked away with a Silver Medal!

What a weekend! Silver Medalists!!
Congratulations to our Orangeville Tigers U11BB team on receiving their 1st medal of the season in their 1st Tournament as a team at the Niagara Rapids Fall Classic.
The weekend was a great bonding experience for the girls and their families; while being undefeated in the round robin with 3 wins and a 1-1 tie against the host team, the girls fought hard and beat the host team in the semi finals.
Off to the finals!! The nerves were evident and the game was a close match, the girls pushed through but were unlucky in the end and unfortunately lost 2-1 to Whitby on a controversial goal!
Heads up girls, we are all very very proud of you!! On to the next stepping stone of the season!!
U18 BB Coach Paul:
The Tigers U-18BB team won silver in the Niagara Falls Classic Tournament. Tigers had a great round robin with 3 wins, 1 tie and zero loses. Played a great semi-final game to make it into the final, where after injuries, sickness etc came up short and ended up with silver. It was a great effort by the players and a great first tournament weekend.
