Orangeville Tigers Registration Information

The Orangeville Girls Hockey Association provides girls the opportunity to play hockey in a fun, safe and supportive environment. All ages and skill levels are welcome, including a Senior Initiation program.

Registration Ages

Tyke 4/5 - 2013 or earlier
Tyke 6 - 2012
Novice 2010 - 2011
Atom - 2008 - 2009
Peewee - 2006 - 2007
Bantam - 2004 - 2005
Midget - 2001 - 2003

Registration Fees

post dated cheques can be provided for equal amounts dated June 30, 2018, July 31, 2018 and Aug 31, 2018 to qualify for the Early Bird rate. No exceptions.

A discount of $25 is offered to Adult Recreation players who have daughters playing with the OGHA. The Adult Recreation season will begin the week of Sept 21st running until the end of March.  Players will be notified in early September of their first ice time.

Cheques being dropped off will not be accepted

There is an additional  $15.00 service charge for credit card payments, as per the instructions on the registration form

Financial Assistance

The OGHA understands that registration fees and equipment costs are preventing children in our community from experiencing the game of hockey. Thus, we are proud to announce that we have partnered with KidSport™ Ontario, Jumpstart and Spenser's Kids. These programs helps underserviced children and youth break through the social and/or economic barriers preventing or limiting their participation in organized sports. The OGHA and these oranganizations accomplish this through the distribution of registration fees and equipment grants. Additional Information

The 2018/2019 Hockey Season will run from approximately September 3, 2018 through the end of March 2019.
All House League Teams will play a minimum of 20 games and have a shared ice practice every week.  House League
teams may travel to Caledon, Brampton, Erin & Vaughan depending on age group. 
Required Documentation
  1. All players must submit their Web Confirmation along with their cheque, if the Credit Card payment option was not used.
  2. New players must submit a Photocopy of their Birth Certificate (proof of age) along with confirmation and cheque, if the Credit Card payment option was not used.
  3. Any new player from another association must also provide a signed and completed Permission to Skate or Release from their prior association before going on the ice with the Orangeville Tigers.
The OGHA will accept postdated cheques up to June 30, 2018 (Or three cheques dated June 30, 2018, July 31, 2018 and Aug 31, 2018) for the early bird and the cut off for Registration will be October 31, 2018.  An additional surcharge of $15 will be applied to all credit card payments.
Please note: that you are not officially registered with the league until payment and all required documentation has been received by the Tigers to qualify for dead lines.
Multiple Players
Discounts will be given for multiple family members registering with the organization.
  • 1st  family member  -  full price
  • 2nd  family member  -  $25
  • 3rd  (and subsequent) family member  -  $25
Refund Policy
  1. The amount of the refund shall be prorated against the amount of ice time already used and insurance fees.
  2. There will be no refund of fees after October 15th of the playing season with exception to illness or injury.
  3. Rep tryout fees will not be refunded.
  4. The amount of $55.00 included in the registration fee is non-refundable once a player is registered.
