OGHA Update
Update regarding the 2020/21 season.  Please read and complete our survey by Sunday August 9th.

Hello Tiger Families.

I hope you’re all enjoying your summer.

We are still awaiting direction from the OWHA and Town of Orangeville for our upcoming 2020/21 season.  The OWHA has released a “Return to Hockey Protocol” which can be found at www.owha.on.ca.   These Protocols are OWHAs rules and policies intended to enable a safe return to the sport. These Protocols are based on current Ontario statutes and regulations, current public health requirements and directives, and OWHA’s desire to make our sport safe for all. These Protocols may be updated at any time; please be sure that you are referring to the most recent Version which will be posted from time to time on the OWHA’s website. These Protocols are subject to all federal, provincial and municipal laws, regulations, by-laws and orders as they may exist from time to time.

The Orangeville Girls Hockey Association is developing a "Return to Play" framework for the upcoming 2020/21 season. We require feedback from our families/membership indicating their interests and preferences in order to be able to start planning for what will be a very different hockey season this fall.   Stage 1 could be "Skills & Drills".  There will be no teams, no competition and no game play.  We are still awaiting direction from the Town of Orangeville, however one of the options being considered is curbside drop off and pick up, no change rooms and no parents in the arena.

We kindly ask that you take 5 minutes to complete this survey.  The deadline to respond is Sunday August 9th.  Please follow the link or cut and paste the link to access the survey.

Thank you for your patience during this extraordinary time.   We hope to have more updates soon and will continue to update our membership as quickly as possible.
