The OGHA is consistently looking for ways to better our league and Executive. We do this by amending our constitution as may be needed. The OGHA would like to add an amendment to our constitution that will become legal for the 2024/2025 season.This amendment is associated with roles and tasks carried out by for skill developments and will be voted on during our AGM on May 24, 2023.
We are proposing to split the Director of Program Development into two positions.
Director of Player Development Competitive and Director of Player Development Community
Director of Player Development Competitive
- works with ice scheduler to ascertain ice for development sessions
- coordinates the sessions
- recruits instructors/coaches to run development
- continue with other duties as assigned
Director of Player Development Community
- works with ice scheduler to ascertain ice for development sessions
- coordinates the sessions to ensure fairness among all of the divisions
- recruits instructors/coaches to run development
- continue with other duties as assigned
- Supports/manages the Fundamental program providing assistance/checking in with the lead instructor
We are also proposing that the position of Registration Coordinator will be eliminated and absorbed by the League Administrator and the Webmaster.
