This past weekend our U13 BB Tigers competed in the Etobicoke Dolphins Pink The Rink tournament, an annual tournament that raises funds put towards the fight against cancer!
The girls started their weekend off by winning the Pink The Rink photo contest after receiving a whopping 399 LIKES on Facebook...but their winning didn't stop there!
The girls proceeded to remain undefeated the entire weekend.
They started Friday with a 1-1 tie vs. Scarborough and a 7-0 win vs. Caledon, continuing Saturday with 3-0 win vs. Stratford and an exciting battle vs Oakville, where the girls were down 3-0 in the third period and battled their way back to a 4-3 win to earn their spot in the semi finals.
Sunday they beat Caledon this time 8-0 in the semis where they once again had to face Oakville for the final game! The girls played a hard game and came out on top with a 2-1 win in a 4 on 4 overtime, earning them the Gold Medal!
Our Tigers battled hard as an amazing team all weekend and never let up. Congrats U13 BB on a well deserved GOLD!!!!
