The U11 BB Tigers had a fantastic weekend up north for the 46th Annual Huntsville Sting Tournament.
The girls went undefeated during the tournament, only allowing in 2 goals in 5 games.
During the semis, the girls had to face the U11 B Orangeville Tigers who put up a tough battle and a goalie who was absolutely on fire.
It was an exciting Gold Medal game on Sunday against the Toronto Leaside Wildcats! 0-0 all the way until the end of the third, when Orangeville scored with 2 minutes left in the game. A penalty for Orangeville in the last 30 seconds of the game gave Leaside a 6 on 4 opportunity which resulted in a goal for them with 16 seconds left sending this game to overtime.
It was an exciting win for Orangeville with the game winner one minute into overtime!
