Blue Ice Goaltending
Blue Ice Goaltending was established by former Junior A/NCAA goalie, Jared Lockhurst.
We began our journey in 2006 when Jared began to train young goalies while attending high school. While in high school, Jared had a strong hockey career playing at Mayfield Secondary School as well as playing for the Brampton Battalion AAA program.
Jared then perfected his craft in the Junior ranks. He went on to play Junior A hockey for four years in the Ontario Junior A Hockey League, playing for Brampton Capitals, Villanova Knights, Orangeville Flyers and the Wellington Dukes.
He was fortunate to be recruited to go play four seasons of NCAA hockey at Brockport College (SUNYAC Division 3).
Once he graduated, he decided to end his playing career and focus his attention on his passion, Goalie Training!
The Blue Ice Goaltending team is comprised of knowledgeable and experienced trainers with a passion to teach young goalies the proper fundamentals and techniques to become the best goalie they can be.
