U18 BB, Competitive (Rep), 2020-2021 (Orangeville Tigers Girls Hockey)

We are excited to have started our games again!! Despite living through a pandemic, the ability to play and be with our team mates has been a life saver. Let's keep at it and have fun wrapping up the season over the next month! "Perseverance and positive attitude are a choice, not a skill."

Today and everyday, we celebrate the women of the U18BB Tigers and all the women who are with us on this journey and those who created the path we now walk along. A quote from someone who has helped and continues to help us grow as women. Thanks to the hard work of the Tigers Executive, we are back in action starting on Saturday! Please check your emails for your schedule. We will be rotating the players through until such time as we are able to have the whole team on the ice. We are excited to have everyone out again! Come ready to go!

As we continue through the current lockdown situation...waiting for that moment we can get back on the ice... here's something to ponder. "Being an 'athlete' is far more than having physical skills. Being an athlete and a great team mate involves choices of effort and attitude-in other words- character. These are the lessons that should be intentionally taught. A goal for the athletic experience is that athletes will gain something from the experience that will help shape them into an even better adult."

Happy New Year to all of the U18BB Tiger players and families! It has been a great ride so far.  As we move into 2021, we start the year fresh with hope and excitement for when we can get back on the ice again.  If there's anything we can take from 2020- here are a few: "The world can change quickly, friends matter greatly, alone and lonely are different, hope matters, learn from the past, small moments are beautiful, kindness is a great gift, optimism is priceless, be grateful for family, heroes truly exist, give back generously, never stop trying, reach out to those you love, live ...
